HD Monitor with Tuner and Composite
THIS THING ROCKS!!! For way under $200 you get an HDMI monitor with a built in TV tuner and even a composite video input! This monitor can be used as a stand alone TV, a security monitor, a computer monitor or pretty much any application! I was trying to find an adapter that would allow me to convert s-video or composite to RGB or DVI so I could hook up my older direct-tv receiver in my lab. My lab is small and space is an issue so, I wanted an LCD instead of a standard small TV.
The problem was the cost of the adapters / converters was high. All I needed was a monitor that took composite input but, did not want to pay up for just an adapter. This monitor DOES IT ALL! I can use it for my security cam, my direct-tv tuner, an add on monitor for my laptop or any video application I can throw at it!
